Annwn Valley April 2007Yurts originate from Mongolia and are traditionally lived in by nomadic tribes. They are strong, aesthetically beautiful constructions that feel both spacious and harmonious to be in. The frame is covered with a strong canvas and there is a clear circular portal in the middle of the roof, two windows, a wooden floor and door.

The yurts measure 18ft in diameter and sleeps up to five people. They are comfortably furnished with antique rugs, sheepskins, floor cushions, tables, storage and soft lighting. There is one double and three single futons and bedding is available on request.

The internal cooking facilities comprise of a wood burning stove, a small kitchen area with a camping gas cooker and kitchen wear and utensils. Outside you will find a barbeque, picnic table and a dishwashing area. All ecological washing products and firewood are supplied.
